Here he is! My personal version of a 'Unicorn'. And proof that a haircut means nothing!
AKC's Boeing 767, CGC, TKN, NCD, 50LAM, 100LAM, CHBCD

'Pilot' is a lean and muscular Standard Poodle standing 23" at the shoulder and weighing around 42lbs. I chatted with his owner Katrina at length about her handsome boy. They live across the country in Lewisberry PA. She sent me all of his health test results, which are wonderful (including DNA) and then she drops this bomb on me, "he's a fully trained medical and psychiatric alert and response dog as well as a mobility service dog." Excuse me?!? Someone pinch me! Service dogs go through grueling and rigorous training to provide ANY person with the support they are trained for. I began looking through Katrina's recent picture postings of her and Pilot and ANOTHER bomb was dropped...he's a titled 'Canicross' competitor and trick dog. 'Canicross' is canine powered cross country running. The pictures on his bio page depict a cross between cross country running, a dog agility course and a SPARTAN race. I was SOLD! I told Katrina I would be honored to have him sire Pearl's next litter.
Pilot's health tests are awesome, genetics I feel confidant passing on.

To me, bringing more life into the world is tricky. There are already so many mixed breeds out there needing homes, I need to make sure the lives I bring in are the healthiest they can possibly be, with temperaments that suit their breed and fit in with their surroundings. That's why health is my #1 concern and then temperament. I do not exclusively breed for color or feel that in any way color takes precedence over anything. If I came across a poodle like Pilot that happened to have remarkable color, that's merely a plus.
Together Pilot and Pearl will produce black, apricot, cream and possibly red puppies.
Here is what Pilot's mom, Katrina, has to say about her beautiful boy:
"Pilot is a mama's boy through ad through. His favorite things are competing in Canicross (canine powered cross country running) and doing his job. He is a fully trained medical and psychiatric alert and response dog as well as mobility service dog. He is a titled Canicross and trick dog. Pilot's favorite things to do are anything that involves his humans. If you ask him to go, he'll go. If you ask him to cuddle, he'll be your cuddle bug. Pilot is also a dog training demo dog for his mom's business. Not only that, but he also has a solid structure, beautiful dense hair coat and perfect family dog temperament. Pilot can really do it all."
